Never Judge a Book by Its Cover Is So PasseMy love of the moment comes in the form of a 601 paged paper-back monster known as the 2002 Centennial Edition of John Steinbeck’s “East of Eden.” And while content ultimately rules, I can’t help but be drawn to the gorgeous antiqued detailing on the cover and the uneven parchment pages. It makes a gal like myself, who is always drawn into the visual aesthetics of life, happy to tote around a book so big every single day.

These ALWAYS cheer me up...You haven’t lived unless you’ve tried an “injectible” cupcake from Trani in the North End of Boston. These cupcakes are filled with DELICIOUS ice cream and then drizzled with hot chocolate fudge. Whenever I’m feeling down, these always seem to do the trick! YUM! |
Eames StampsThe new Eames stamps, available June 17th, are so snazzy, you might hesitate before sending them off on summer camp packages. I just want to put them on my bulletin board. So sharp. You can purchase them here. |
Samsung InstinctI have been a Sprint customer for years now. There was buzz about the “iPhone killer” coming from Samsung called the Instinct that would only be available from Sprint. Just my luck, my contract expired right about the time the Instinct was set to come out. A sucker for gadets and envious of my iPhone friends, I wanted to try it. |
Smith's Rosebud SalveI had never heard of this lip balm before but apparently it has been around for a while and celebrities and makeup pros swear by it. A friend whipped it out once and the actual smell of roses got me hooked. The old school tin is really cute, too. Highly recommended. ;) |
ShinyThis is the best topcoat I’ve every tried – and I’ve tried them all. It leaves your nails super-shiny and it protects your color from chipping. Every girl should have it. |
